cute things

Wow! Has it really been almost 2 months since I last posted? I have had a good excuse though, we've just gotten into our new house 2 weeks ago, so we've been quite busy... Things are coming along well here, and we're actually much more settled in than I expected to be at this point! So that's good! I am so enjoying our new home and Jayce loves his new swings and trampoline!

I will post pictures soon but wanted to update ya'll on some of the cute things Jayce has said and done lately...His new most common phrases are "oh, wow! and oh, man..." He walked downstairs the other day to see new toys in the den and exclaimed, OH WOW!!! and then he dropped a toy upstairs the other day and said OH, Man... it is so cute the way he says it... I'm like you're 2, and saying these phrases that we say... it's just funny to hear it come out of his little body...

I was talking to him about the baby yesterday, asking him if he thought Gabe would have a blankie like his, and if Gabe would like raisins and gold fish like he does... and he said, "OH!" and jumped down from my lap, ran into the kitchen, picked up some fish and brought them back and held them up to my stomach for Gabe to eat them, it was the cutest thing ever!
When we ask him where the baby is, he'll still touch my stomach and say "Hold" and hold out his hands to hold him... I keep telling him we hope not just yet!

So, I"m almost 31 weeks now and overall doing well... I do have gestational diabetes again, so have to watch my diet and prick my fingers... but I"m used to both of those so it's not too bad! I am having some problems with varicose veins and that is not fun! Especially during shorts season! The dr. told me yesterday that I need to be wearing maternity hose all day long, also not fun during shorts season! As if I"m not hot enough already! But I will say I've worn them under capris and pants the past day or so, and it does help relieve some pain, so that's good... I just hope they'll go away after Gabe arrives... sometimes they do, and sometimes they don't... let's hope in my case they do!
