I never have felt so good pulling into my garage as I did tonight... boy, am I glad to be home with Gabe! Dr. Whitehead cleared us tonight around 6 to go home... good news was that no menengitis or bloodsream infections were detected in the cultures, bad news is that they still are not sure why he had the fever and why his white blood cell count was elevated... he said we might not ever know... but we are thankful to know at least that it is neither of the serious conditions we were concerned about... We are praying for a good first night back at home and that we'll get to actually stay here this time... I'm posting a picture of Gabe when we first got there and then one of today, right before we left. I was so glad to put real clothes on him! We'll see the Dr. on Tuesday to follow up. Thank you all so much for your prayers, they were heard!
