good news

Dr. Whitehead made rounds this afternoon and said that thus far, no bacteria has grown on any of the blood samples or on the spinal fluid sample. He said this is a really positive sign and that he thinks that if there were a serious infection, it would have shown up by now. We are very hopeful that we'll be able to go home tomorrow...but will not know until late afternoon most likely. Gabe's temp is down even more and he's still eating really well, so that's all good news. I'll write again tomorrow when we know more.
