Jayce comments

Jayce seems to have developed a southern accent... when we ask him to do something, he says, "ok mama, I Wi-il," 2 syllables...

He has also discovered the old trick of faking illness when he does not want to go somewhere... He will say, I can't go to school, or church or the gym because I am sick... I have a cough... and then will do the "fakest" (sorry, this is probably not really a word) cough I've ever heard to "prove" it...

The other night Jay had left his door open and so he meandered downstairs bright and early in the morning and was chatting away... when I told him that we were going to play the quiet game, he said... mommy, that hurts my feelings.... when I replied, "it hurts your feelings to play the quiet game?" he said, no, it hurts my TWO FEELINGS!

The other day, I was doing my devotion in the morning and Jayce was again chatting away, and begging me for chocolate milk... I said, "do you want to read my Bible with me?" He said that he did and several verses into the passage, Jayce quietly whispered... "and then Jesus said that he wants chocolate milk now..." I could not stop laughing!

Jayce is very into calling Jay and I "guys"... "come on guys, we need to get going" he will say...

and he loves to call his toy animals "little fellas..." I overheard him talking to them, and he said, "come on little fellas, it is time for you to go to bed now."

Jay told me that as he was putting Jayce to bed the other night... Jayce was looking out his window talking about the sun going to sleep and he asked Jay if the sun sleeps in the trees and when Jay replied yes, Jayce said and then the clouds snuggle the sun up!
