Well, I was so excited to finally be able to post after a long frustrating time of not being able to log on! For some reason, I can only use the new blogger through Jay's laptop... so I'll have to do this only at night... Anyhow, I wanted to write about the party and I'll catch up on older pictures too as we go along...
Jayce had a great time at his birthday party today and I actually did too! We made it very simple with just pizza and cake and ice cream, and that was so much less stressful than last year! We had a Winnie the pooh theme which he picked... He Loves pooh, and we never encouraged it, he just has always been drawn to his .99 cent books I got him at Piggly Wiggly one time about pooh and the gang... So, he was very excited about his pooh cake, balloons, plates and napkins, and all that jazz! I got this theme by Jay by finding pooh invites with him swinging a baseball bat, otherwise, he'd have never gone for it! We had the party at the McLaughlin's cabin, which is a great place to have a party, b/c it's so spacious, then again... it's NOT so great, when you have lots of toddlers who are overwhelmed by all the places they could go! We had to drag Jayce inside balling for him to have his cake, and I definitely opened all the gifts! But, that was fun for me! Anyhow, we had fun overall and most importantly Jayce had a blast...
It was so nice for so many family members and his little friends to make it today and we had a super time!
